Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS ONLY.

PARTICIPATION CONSTITUES PARTICIPANT’S FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL AGREEMENT TO AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE "OFFICIAL RULES"

I. PROMOTION PERIOD: The Reliable Home Improvement and Supply “It’s All About the Experience” Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 12:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) ("Sweepstakes Start Date"), and ends Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. “CT” (the "Promotion Period”). The Sweepstakes entry and drawings will be conducted every Saturday, every hour from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m CT during that day’s Entry and Drawing Period (“Entry/Drawing Period”).

II. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to permanent legal residents of the U.S. who are physically located and residing in the state of Illinois and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of September 11, 2010 at time of entry. Potential winners may be required to provide proof of legal U.S. residency if requested by Sponsor to determine eligibility and as a condition of prize award. The following persons who are not eligible to enter or win: (a) Employees, officers, and directors of Officers, directors and employees of, Reliable Home Improvement and Supply Inc. ("Sponsor"), participating retailers, each of their respective franchisees, parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, suppliers, distributors, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this promotion (collectively, “Released Parties”), and the members of the immediate families or households, whether or not related, of any such individuals. “Immediate family members” includes, for purposes of this promotion, parents (including in-laws), grandparents, siblings (including step-siblings), children (including step-children), grand children (including step grand children) and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

III. HOW TO ENTER – TWO WAYS:
To participate in the Sweepstakes an Participant (“Participant”) is required to enter
A. In-Store Method: During the valid Entry Period (Refer to Entry and Drawing Schedule Section #V.) a Participant should go to the Sponsor’s showroom (“Showroom”) located at 1300 West Ferry Road, Naperville, IL and request an entry form. Enter the requested information and return the completed form to the sales representative or manager. No purchase is required. Upon Sponsor’s receipt of the entry form, a Participant will be entered into the Sweepstakes. ALL IN-STORE ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 3:59:59 PM CT ON EACH SATURDAY, TO BE ELIGIBLE.
B. Mail-in Method: If an Participant does not wish to enter via a showroom visit, a Participant may enter the Sweepstakes by legibly hand printing his or her name, address, city, state and zip code, day & evening telephone number, and email address (if available) on a 3” x 5” size postcard and mailing it in a postage paid business-size #10 envelope to: Reliable “It’s All About the Experience” Sweepstakes, 1300 West Ferry Road, Naperville, IL 60563. AMOE entries must be received by Friday the last day of that week or AMOE Entry will be entered into following week’s drawing. Final mail entries must be postmarked by November 9, 2010 and received by November 12, 2010.

IV. GENERAL ENTRY CONDITIONS:
Limit is to one entry per person/email address during the Promotion Period. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person or email address that submits more than maximum allowed. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, stolen, misdirected, delayed or destroyed entries. Incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. No mechanical reproductions or facsimiles of entries allowed. Proof of sending, or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. By participating, you consent for Sponsor to obtain, use, and transfer your name, address and other information for the sole purpose of administering this Sweepstakes. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

V. WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION AND ODDS:
The potential First Prize Winner (“Winner”) will be selected from among all eligible entries received, and conducted each hour from 1:00 p.m. CT to 4:00 p.m. every Saturday for a period of nine (9) Saturdays during the Promotion Period (Refer to Entry and Drawing Schedule below). Winner will receive $100 cash, during one of a Saturday’s hourly drawing by the Sweepstakes Administrator, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the selection of the Winners of this Sweepstakes. One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected from all entries. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified in person if available in the Showroom, or phone and email.

Entry and Drawing Schedule

NOTE: There will be NO Drawing on 10/9/2010 at the Open House Event.

NOTE: AMOE entries must be received by Friday the last day of that week or AMOE Entry
will be entered into following week’s drawing.

VI. PRIZES:
Forty-Four (44) First Prize Winners will be awarded $100 each, four (4) every Saturday. First Prize Pool Total is $3,600
One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive $500.
In Addition: The Grand Prize winner who has received the $500 Grand Prize will have a chance to win the Sponsor’s remodeling cash prize of $25,000. The winner will be invited to select two (2) envelopes from fifteen (15) sealed envelopes November 13th, 2010. Two of these 15 envelopes contain a certificate for the Reliable $25,000 home Improvement remodeling prize. The Grand Prize winner must select both winning envelopes in order to win. If winning envelopes are not chosen, the winning envelopes will be revealed.
Total Prize Pool is $29,900.

VII. GENERAL PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The winners are required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. If a prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to a potential winner, if potential winner cannot be reached within three (3) calendar days from the first notification attempt, or if a potential winner is ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and, an alternate winner may be selected for the prize at issue.

VIII. $25,000 INSURED CASH PRIZE CONDITIONS: Grand Prize Winner will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability and a publicity release (collectively, "Affidavit Release"), to be signed and returned within five (5) days of envelope drawing date. As a condition of entering this Sweepstakes and selecting both correct envelopes to win the $25,000 remodel/renovation cash prize, the Grand Prize Winner will be required to use the cash prize toward the renovation/remodel project as per Sponsor’s estimate, minus taxes that may be owed to the IRS. The Sponsor’s estimate will be submitted prior to the release of the $25,000.00 check and accepted by the Grand Prize Winner via a written Sponsor contract. The uncommitted balance of the cash-prize, shall be used in any way the Winner determines. Specifics of all aforementioned elements of the cash-prize, shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. Some restrictions may apply. The Sponsor will not be responsible for any payments made to third parties as a result of architectural design, construction, or other related services required to accomplish the renovation or remodel and will only be a party to contracts relating to their services as defined in their submitted estimate and final renovation contract. The Sponsor will not be responsible for any design or construction defects, any merchandise or product defects, or any zoning or building code violations arising as a result of renovating the Grand Prize Winner’s residence. Each component of the Grand Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guaranty, either express or implied, except the manufacturer’s written warranty accompanying any product or services thereby. All other expenses not specifically identified, as included in the insured prize including those associated with acceptance, delivery, installation and use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. All costs, taxes, fees, and expenses associated with any element of the prizes described above not specifically addressed above are the sole responsibility of the respective Grand Prize Winner. All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize, described above in section VI are the responsibility of the respective winner prior to the renovation/remodel project’s start date. The Grand Prize Winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for the cash value of their total respective prize of $25,500, if applicable. Grand Prize Winner must make the residence available for an initial walk through evaluation by the panel of estimators.
If the Grand Prize Winner is claiming the insured cash prize as a business renovation/remodel, the Grand Prize Winner must provide the Sponsor with a valid Federal Employee Identification Number (“FEIN”), a W-9, or social security number before the prize will be awarded.

IX. MODIFICATION: If for any reason Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is no longer capable of running as intended by these Official Rules for any reason whatsoever, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend, postpone, delay or modify the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, including, but not limited to, any occurrences described in Rule IV above, or any other causes which may corrupt or impair the integrity, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. If Sponsor determines that more prize claims are submitted or more prize notices are distributed than the number of prizes offered in these Official Rules, Sponsor shall immediately suspend all drawings and prize awards, and Sponsor reserves the right to award any remaining prizes (up to the total set forth in these Official Rules) in a manner deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. For example, Sponsor may select a winner in a random drawing from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment or conducted a random drawing among all prize claimants, and neither Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Administrator nor any of the Released Parties shall have any further liability to any entrant in connection with the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

X. OPT- IN: By participating, you consent for the Sponsor to obtain, use, and transfer your name, address and other information for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes. You are authorizing the Sponsor to send you emails as entered on the entry form, about its products and services. You may opt out of receiving future e-mails from Sponsor by clicking on the link contained in the initial e-mail message. You will remain eligible for this Promotion whether or not you opt out of receiving promotional e-mails from Sponsor.

XI. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: The information that you provide in connection with the Sweepstakes entry process may be used by Sponsor for Sponsor's internal purposes in connection with operation of the Sweepstakes such as to communicate with entrant in relation to this Sweepstakes or on a Sweepstakes winner's list and such information will only be used to send entrants information about Sponsor's products and other offers if you consent to use in such manner.  For more information about Sponsor’s use of personal information, see Sponsor’s privacy policy by clicking on the Privacy Policy link indicated on Sponsor's Web Site (http://www.reliablehomeimprov.com). Each winner’s acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use the winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state) for any and all public relations, advertising and/or promotional purposes as determined by Sponsor, in all forms of media and by all manners (now and hereafter known), in perpetuity, without notice, consent, review or approval or further compensation. Any requested opt-in consent is not required to enter the Sweepstakes and will not increase your chances of winning.

XII. RELEASES: All Participants, as a condition of participation in this Promotion, agree to release Sponsor and Promotion Parties from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with: (a) accessing the Sponsor’s Website, (b) participating in any aspect of the Promotion, (c) the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, (d) any download, or (e) any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of offering of any prize. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize, except for any express manufacturer's warranty as may be included with the prize. The Grand Prize Winner bears all risk of loss or damage to his/her respective prize after it has been delivered. Except for residents of TN and where prohibited by law, each prize winner hereby grants to Sponsor and the Promotion Parties the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide in any media whether now known or hereinafter devised (including without limitation the use online at the Website or at any other websites owned, controlled and/or operated by Sponsor) such prize winner's name, address, voice, statement, picture or other likeness, without additional compensation, for any and all public relations, advertising and promotional purposes as may be determined by Sponsor.

XIII. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, or the determination of winners shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association, then effective. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (e.g., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of Illinois, in the City of Naperville, County of DuPage, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered into any court having jurisdiction thereof.

XIV. WINNERS LIST/OFFICIAL RULES REQUEST: For the names and city/state of residence of prizewinners or a copy of these Official Rules send a self-addressed, stamped envelope postmarked by 1/11/11 and received by 1/15/11 Specifying Winners List or Official Rules request to: Compliance “Reliable It’s All About the Experience” Winners List, 106 Elm Street, Stonington, CT 06378. VT & WA residents may omit return postage.

XVI.  MISCELLANEOUS: The names of individuals, groups, companies, products and services mentioned herein, and any corresponding likenesses, logos and images thereof reproduced herein, have been used for identification purposes only and may be the copyrighted properties and trademarks of their respective owners. The mention of any individual, group or company, or the inclusion of a product or service as a prize, does not imply any association with or endorsement by such individual, group or company or the manufacturer or distributor of such product or service and, except as otherwise indicated, no association or endorsement is intended or should be inferred. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules or the Prize Acceptance Release will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any provision of the Official Rules or the Prize Acceptance Release is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.  Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. For Participant, to the extent there is a conflict between these Official Rules and any terms of use or other agreement posted on the Sponsor's Web Site, these Official Rules control.
